Description :

This is the first of only 2 batches of this item at SMALL, to be followed by just a few batches at XS.

This gorgeous item is maturing exactly as we had hoped it would!

History:  First introduced in Oct 2021 through the wholesale auctions. The supply of this item is far too limited to be able to offer it on the online shop any time soon.

The female parent is N. villosa of the same clone as that offered under BE-3225, which was originally selected form many for its exceptional vigour and remains very probably the most vigorous of all the N. villosa in cultivation today.  The male parent is the giant black N. robcantleyi, with the cultivar name ‘King of Spades'.

At the time of lwriting, the largest plants we have are still too juvenile to fully show the pitcher characteristics but from what we can see so far, the pitchers will be deeply ribbed, probably more so than the Nepenthes villosa x veitchii, which was the first villosa hybrid we launched back in April 2020.

Photo notes: Photos are of representative clones and may not be identical to plants shipped.

Source: Random selection from a large number of different clones out of microprop.

Climate: Highland
