This particular clone out from many, because of the characteristic that the super-wide peristome is veitchii-like, but it seems to remain fully flared and doesn’t roll back as the pitchers age. N. veitchii can be a little disappointing in that regard, because as the pitchers mature the peristome rolls back and characteristics we all love, such as stripes on the peristome often fade. We have only two stock plants of this item and although they aren’t yet mature, both show pitchers that remain flared as they age. We expect our stock plants to become much larger and even more spectacular before they reach maturity.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics from specimen parent plants.
